Kevin and Varsha Kapadia purchased their first home in Austin, a duplex, with plans to live on one side and rent out the other to help with the mortgage. Before they knew it, the couple was generating so many bookings they moved back into an apartment and began renting the whole property full-time!
The Kapadias struggled to find a management company capable of adequately caring for their rental home while they stayed at work. Commission rates were inflated, the property was rarely inspected, and there was never a manager that could be directly contacted concerning their account. Determined to improve the rental experience for both guests and other homeowners, the duo left their full-time jobs and GuestSpaces was born!
