The Entertainment Barn – The best feature of the Dripping Springs Social is the entertainment barn with a projector, pool table, fully lit poker table, shuffleboard, and bar
Outdoor noise must be kept to a minimum from 10PM – 8AM as sound carries through the valley.
Small foxes and coyotes have been spotted in the neighborhood but seem timid and don’t cause problems if left alone.
House Rules + FAQs
Check in time is at 4:00 pm CST and check out time is at 11:00 am CST. If you need an earlier check-in or a later checkout time please request this in advance by clicking here and we will try our best to accommodate you.
- No more than 22 guests may be in the home at any time.
- If your guest count changes after booking, you must provide an updated list of all guest names and ages for our safety records. We are contacted first in the case of an emergency and must be able to verify potential occupants. If your guest count has increased after booking, additional guest fees may also be due. Failing to account for all guests will result in the termination of your booking with no refund or credit given.
- Per City of Austin ordinances, music and gatherings are not permitted outdoors between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Parties are NOT permitted at any time. Additionally, we ask that you keep noise/music at a reasonable level at all times throughout your stay to respect the neighbors of this property. While this may be your getaway, this is their home!
- This house uses an extremely sensitive septic plumbing system. Please do not dispose of ANYTHING down the toilet besides toilet paper.
- Absolutely no smoking inside the house. This includes vaporizers. Please smoke outside and dispose of your butts properly.
- Pets are not allowed in this property at any time.
- GuestSpaces is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to the personal property of you and your guests. Each vacation rental is equipped with a keyless door lock. For your security, you will receive your unique entry code 72 hours before your stay. Please ensure the door is locked each time you exit the home – most do not lock automatically.
- Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. If you would like to schedule additional maid service, you may place a request here.
- Trash day is Wednesday early morning. If you are staying at the home Tuesday, please put the trash and recycling bins out to the curb and bring them back in Wednesday after they are picked up.
- We welcome families with children, but please supervise them at all times, as there are no safety features for the pool and the home is situated on top of a hill.
You can park in any of the gravel areas, but please do not park in the grass as our septic is underground.

If you need to reset the modem, it is located on the 3rd floor behind the nightstand. Please note, the cell signal is sometimes not the best as the home is in a remote location, so we suggest enabling wifi calling on your phone.
Cable: To watch cable channels, please access the YouTubeTV app on the Tv’s. You are also welcome to log into any other streaming apps using your personal log in information, just dont forget to log out!
Phone Service: SOME cell service providers can have spotty service in the hill country. Verizon has full service. However, we do have wifi at the property to provide ALL cell phone providers regular phone service via wifi calling.
Guest needs to make sure they are connected to the house internet network or the party internet network if they find a particular service provider is not working and this should clear any issues.
To control the heating or cooling, please access the thermostat located in the downstairs seating area of the main home, wall of the entertainment barn, and a separate unit with a remote control in the barn’s bunk room.

This home is equipped with a Keurig and a traditional drip coffee pot.
If you use the BBQ grill, please empty the grease trap into the trash bin and scrub down the grates.
Propane tank is provided and available to use, but please let us know if it runs low or out during your stay.
The pool is professionally maintained and serviced once a week on Tuesdays, but sometimes foliage and debris can go into the pool.
If you use any of the pool towels, please wash, dry, fold and return them to the laundry room prior to your departure.
Please make sure you are dry before coming into the house and using the furniture. If there are stains on the furniture, charges will be assessed.
Please clean up the pool area and do not leave any trash outside.
No glass in the pool area. No children without adult supervision as there are no safety features such as gates at the home. Absolutely NO DIVING.

To Watch TV or Movies:
Tap Roku at bottom of screen. Projector will take approximately 45 seconds to turn on then use the tablet like a remote.
To Listen to Music with Alexa:
Tap audio at bottom of screen. Verbally tell Alexa what to play.
To Play Your Gaming Device:
Tap HDMI at bottom of screen. Plug in your device using the HDMI cord next to the Alexa.
Hit Power button in top right corner to turn systems OFF.
Troubleshooting:
If the tablet does not seem to be connecting to internet and finding the host or Savant app. Power OFF (not restart) tablet then turn back on.
The garage door can be opened, but if you open it when it’s hot outside, you must turn both AC thermostats OFF so it doesn’t overwork the system.
To ensure a complete return of your security deposit, please note the following:
- Please make sure ALL windows & doors are locked before leaving.
- Please rinse and place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher.
- Empty all open, perishable food and beverage items from refrigerator. We don’t like to waste, so if things can be used by future guests, or taken by our housekeepers, please feel free to leave it!
- All trash and recycling to be placed in the outdoor trash and recycling bins. Please ensure all trash fits in the bins, and take any excess trash with you to avoid a fee.
- Make sure to locate and pack all your personal belongings. GuestSpaces is not responsible for any items left behind.
- Inform GuestSpaces of any problems such as appliances not working, broken dishes, etc.
- Turn off all non-essential electrical devices.
- Turn off all lights.
